La Porsche 912 est une Porsche 911/1, mais propulsée par un moteur 4 cylindres à plat de Porsche 356. Elle fut lancée comme entrée de gamme des 911 et produite de 1965 à 1969, puis à nouveau en 1976 avec le modèle 912E, une voiture vendue sur le marché Nord-américain uniquement. La 912 (1965-1969) reprend une version 90 ch du moteur de la 356 SC, et l’associe à la caisse et au châssis de la 911. En raison du coût de production trop élevé du moteur « Flat 4 » en aluminium, elle sera remplacée en 1970 par la 911 T au moteur « Flat 6 » en fonte, peu coûteux, de 110 ch. On peut distinguer 3 grandes familles de Porsche 912 : -les SWB (caisse a empattement court ou Short Wheel Base en anglais) produites jusqu’en 1968. -les LWB (Long Wheel Base) produites en 1969 -les 912E produites en 1976.
La 912 fut vendue a plus de 30 000 exemplaires. Une version découvrable dite Targa apparaît en 1967; une option très rare dite » soft window » faisait de la 912 Targa un véritable cabriolet

Selling a 1967 Porsche 912. Has the orig drivetrain, recently gone through from sitting literally in a barn since 1988. Has optional wood steering wheel, chrome wheels, and a 5 speed trans. The car runs and drives good, no leaks, no smoke. Has old blue paint with chips and primer but orig Irish green car. Car shows 54k mikes and shown as actual on clean California Title. Everything works, has hairline Crack on windshield, all other orig Glass is perfect. This is a non sunroof car. Clean California title. $24,500 delivered to port of Oakland.

1967 Porsche 912, super solid rust free numbers matching car. Orig Irish green, now blue. Has orig black leather interior, seats are nice, dash needs help, door panels good. 5 speed car, orig wood wheel. Starts up every time, runs great. I drove this car on a couple 3 hour plus trips and never gave me any issues. $24,500.
I also have a early 911T engine complete with carbs and air cleaners, exhaust, etc with a 5 speed trans that can be bought to convert this to a 6cyl for an additional cost.

Seuls les sièges avant ont été regarni, le reste de la sellerie est d’époque en bel état.
Le 1600 cm3 a reçu une carburation Weber pour plus de fiabilité, il nous a emmené sur près de 300 KM pour rapatrier l’auto au garage.
Dans le coffre, outre une batterie Optima 12 volts au gel neuve, on trouve le cric Bilstein, et une rare trousse à outil d’époque avec les outils siglés Porsche.
L’auto a été repeinte une seule fois à l’extérieur dans sa teinte d’origine « Polo Red », elle présente encore très bien.

One of the first 1965 Porsche 912’s in Champagne Yellow 6405 with Black Leatherette Interior. Production date 16/07/1965 912 Karmann Coupe, according to the certificate of authenticity this is an all matching numbers car.
The first 912’s had painted dashboards the same colour as the exterior of car, thus creating what is now referred to as a “painted dash” 912. (In actuality, the dashboards of all early 9-series Porsches were painted the same colour as the exterior, but as a cost cutting measure, the first 912s were then not given the additional layer of anti-glare matte black paint and strip of teak wood trim that came standard on the 911.) The first 912’s also had the 4 screw hole horn grilles.
Has almost all of its original features such as: squared off lower dash pad, unusual horn air cleaners, painted dash, Solex Carburators, steel wheels, steering wheel (missing horn pad), and 1965 paint code. There are some paint bubbles in various spots but body is very solid and ready for a great restoration. The engine starts. This is a great opportunity to own a very rare classic Porsche.
The chrome work on the car is superb with everything attached, opening front ¼ light windows. The interior is all complete and also in very good condition. The car is authentic with a black interior and matching numbers engine.
