Selling my 1966 Porsche 912.
Outlaw / Hot Rod style, currently wearing Martini livery, but stripes are the easily removable ones from Magna Grafik.
Originally an AZ car, then NV and CA, always lived in dry states.
Body, all panels and trim pieces are all there and original as far as I can see. No modifications to the body, still narrow body short wheel base. Must have had a minor hit in the rear a long time ago, I can see some repair work was done to the left side quarter panel, but clean title. Very good and even gaps.
Absolutely solid and straight, no dents. Originally Irish green, now grey, I have the current paint code. Paint is old and pretty thin, some cracking, overall a nice patina.
No rust issues at all, floorboards and front and rear suspension areas are solid.
Sits on very valuable original Deep six Fuchs with hearts 15×6, newer tires, staggered 195/205.
3 gauge dash, 4 speed numbers matching. Dash is painted, but it is not early enough to be one of the rare painted dash 912’s. I do have an extra trans case with 5 speed gears from a 914.
I bought the car with a tired non- numbers matching 912 engine, sold it and built a very strong custom engine. Using a brand new AS41 aluminum case, bored and stroked to 2110cc. Porsche 911 fan and shroud, full flow oil filter, 2 external oil coolers with thermostat and cooling fans. 44 Webers, sync-link carb linkeage.
This engine runs cool even on hot CA summer days, is very reliable and strong, about 140-150 HP and very torquey. About 10,000 miles on the engine in 2 ½ years, including extended trips to Tahoe and Monterey/Laguna Seca for car week in August.

Has Scat seats and a Prototipo wheel installed, but I have the nice original seats and steering wheel.
Overall a very fun driver, probably not the right car for a collector or concours person. I took it to many car shows and EASY events in Emeryville CA, and received many compliments from R Gruppe members. This car fits right in.
